On Friday 7 March at 9AM (Paris time) the European Birds of Passage team will host a seminar on “(Temporary) Labour Migration and Agriculture in the EU: Time, Borders, and Vulnerabilities". The seminar will provide an interdisciplinary look at the legal construction of temporary labour migration in a selection of EU Member States and focus on examining the role of spatiotemporal elements (shifting borders, temporariness, labour market needs…) in this context. We are happy to have confirmed presentations by Kamil Matuszczyk (CMR – University of Warsaw), Minna Seikkula (University of Tampere), Andrea Iossa (University of Kristianstad), Audrey Deverson (CNRS – University of Strasbourg), and Justyna Hejman-Mancewicz (CNRS – University of Strasbourg). The seminar will also be opened by Fabiola Mieres (ILO). If you cannot join us in Strasbourg, the seminar will be streamed via Zoom.
