The European Lawyers for Workers (ELW) is holding an international conference entitled “Right to strike under attack – legal counterstrategies”. The Hugo Sinzheimer Institute is one of the cooperation partners of this event.

The topics of the conference will include the ICJ opinion on the right to strike under ILO Convention No. 87 and recent rulings by the European courts. The afternoon session will focus on successful legal strategies against restrictions on the right to strike in various European countries.

The conference will take place on 28 February in Berlin. There will be time for further discussion on 1 March. The conference will be simultaneously interpreted into German, English and Spanish
