Dates and times:
The Conference will take place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia on the 13th and 14th December 2018. It will be organized by the Department of Labour Law and Social Security Law of University of Valencia in collaboration with the Government of the Region of Valencia (Generalitat Valenciana; Conselleria d’Educació, Investigació, Cultura i Esport). The topics that will be addressed are: i) Administrative legislation and its influence on the decision to insourcing; ii) the applicability of the legal and European regulation of transfer of undertakings, businesses or parts of undertakings or businesses to insourcing in public administration; iii) possibilities of taking on employees in public administration and apply subrogation obligations regulated in Collective Agreement; iv) integration of workers in public administration and their labor conditions; v) alternatives to insourcing (using social criteria in public procurement, control measures by the administration, etc.); vi) outsourcing vs. insourcing in public administration (social, political, economic and organization aspects).
