The fourth and final LLRN summer seminar on ‘Covid-19 impact on the labour market - Experiences from Colombia, Hong Kong and South Africa’ will take place on 21 July 2020. This will be held by zoom at 4pm Geneva and Johannesburg time (Central European Summer Time - CEST), 9am in Bogota and 10pm in Hong Kong and 3pm in the UK.

This seminar reflects the global reach of LLRN research interests. It reflects on the impact of Covid-19 in the labour market in three countries, Colombia, Hong Kong and South Africa, spanning South America, Asia and Africa. The aim is to bring fresh perspectives to bear on debates often heavily influenced by European and North American concerns. Each of the speakers in the panel are distinguished labour lawyers, led in discussion by Prof. Pablo Arellano (Chile/ILO and the key organiser of last year’s LLRN conference in Valparaiso).
