I am writing to invite you to a Trafflab workshop that will take place on Sept. 13-14 2021 via zoom. In the workshop contributors to the forthcoming book “Modern Slavery and the Governance of Global Value Chains” (CUP) will present their draft chapters.

For details and registration see: https://www.trafflab.org/modern-slavery-governance

This is this group’s second meeting following a conference we held in New Delhi in November 2019 titled “Human Trafficking and Supply Chains.”

The book will be part of the CUP series: Development Trajectories in Global Value Chains. (eds. Stephanie Barrientos, Gary Gereffi, Dev Nathan, and John Pickles), and is edited by Bimal Arora, PROGRESS Project (IDRC) and Manchester Metropolitan University Business School (UK), Shilpi Banerjee, American University in Dubai (UAE) and PROGRESS Project (IDRC) and myself.

The workshop is open to the public and we would love to have you join us. Please register using the link here.
