Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the Young Scholars research seminar on the methodology of research in international labour law. It will be organized on 23 June 2023 during the International Conference ‘The Value of the Positions of the International Human Rights Bodies for National Labour Law’ in Agevola (Naples, Italy).

The seminar will be held by Prof. Nikita Lyutov currently working at M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University, Astana, Kazakhstan. Prof. Lyutov is also a visiting professor at NorthWest University, Potchefstroom, Republic of South Africa. Prof. Lyutov is the author of many publications in the field of international and comparative labour law, he has the highest citation index in the field of labour law in the region of East Europe and Central Asia (H-Index 33 with more than 5000 citations at Google-Scholar). He has conducted a big number of research projects for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) regarding the reforms of labour law in the countries of East Europe and Central Asia to make them compliant with international labour standards.

The organizers will cover the transfer from Naples and one night at the conference venue (22-23 June 2023) for 15 chosen Ph.D students and young researchers. The expression of interest should be sent by 20 May 2023 stating how the topic of your Ph.D. thesis or research is connected with the main topic of the conference.
