We are pleased to share with you the call for papers of “AI and Work: Challenges for labor law at the UE regulation context" Congress, that will take place in *Valencia (Spain) on 20-21 of june 2024 organized by University of Valencia.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to all those interested in presenting their research and contributions in the form of papers during our upcoming event. The conference aims to address various topics related to the impact of Artificial Intelligence in the workplace and associated regulations.
Submission Deadline: May 31, 2024
Topics to be addressed:
i) European regulations applicable to employment contracts
regarding AI and algorithms.
ii) Algorithmic transparency, information rights, and data
protection.
iii) Algorithmic discrimination in employment contracts.
iv) Technological control of work activity and automated
productivity assessments.
v) Biometric and health controls.
vi) Occupational risk prevention and uses of Artificial
Intelligence.
vii) The effects of AI on the labor market.
viii) Neurorights in the workplace.
ix) Automated sanctions by the Labor Inspection.
Please submit your proposals before May 31 to the email address alexne2023@gmail.com. Include an abstract (approximately 200 words) along with the final paper or, if preferred, an extended summary (minimum 2 pages).
On June 15, we will announce the selected papers for presentation at the conference. Additionally, *two papers will be selected for which, due to the interest and methodological rigor of the proposal, travel and accommodation expenses for the conference will be covered*.
Selected papers that are successfully presented at the conference may be included in a *monographic publication of the conference* proceedings by the esteemed Aranzadi editorial, subject to necessary editorial revisions and the authors' preferences.
