In 2019, the University of Sao Paulo School of Law (FD-USP) hosted the Brazil-Japan Litigation and Society Seminar 2: Cultural Diversity and Global Challenges* (https://sites.usp.br/gemdit/eventos/brazil-japan-2/), strengthening its ties with Shinshu University.

After some setbacks, in 2022, many of the event presentations were published as articles in the book *International Dialogues on Litigation and Society* (https://sites.usp.br/gemdit/eventos/brazil-japan-2/book/). Prof. Antonio Rodrigues de Freitas Júnior and Prof. Jorge Cavalcanti Boucinhas Filho - copied above - are the book's coordinators and editors, and it results from the partnership between the Research Group on Migration and International Labor Law (GEMDIT) and the Superior School for Lawyers of the Brazilian Bar Association, Sao Paulo Branch (ESA-OAB-SP).
