We invite contributions to our special session at the 18th Conference of
the International Society for Ecological Economics and the 11th
International Degrowth Conference, happening 24-27 June 2025 in Oslo.
This special session, co-organized by Elise Dermine, Juliette Van Ypersele
and Anja Eleveld, will bring together diverse perspectives to reflect on
the role that labour law can play in drawing concrete trajectories for
rethinking work beyond growth.

We welcome:
✅ Theoretical and methodological insights addressing the challenge of
concretely re-imagining work beyond growth.
✅ Empirical studies uncovering ‘latent utopias’ in the margins of national
labour law systems - offering concrete ideas for moving towards more
sustainable futures.
