*We are pleased to announce the launch of the Call for Abstracts for the XV
ADAPT International Conference
**
(Bergamo,
Italy, 26-28 November 2025)*, an important opportunity to discuss the
evolving world of work with leading scholars and professionals from around
the globe.
*This year’s edition will explore the concept of work, and what we call
'non-work'* which is constantly evolving, making it difficult to define the
boundaries between its many forms – formal, informal, productive,
reproductive, voluntary, and free. Reality often goes beyond rigid
theoretical categories, highlighting the importance of analysing the role
of institutions and intermediary bodies in regulating and defining these
spaces, which are essential for understanding the ongoing transformations.
Thus, the Conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and
innovative perspectives.
*We warmly invite you, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to
contribute by submitting an abstract and/or a panel proposal (deadline: 18
May 2025).*
You can find all relevant details, including research tracks, submission
guidelines and deadlines, at the following links:
- Call for Abstracts (EN, ES, IT)
- Submission Portal
*Participation in the Conference is free, but registration is required
.*
We appreciate your collaboration in disseminating this info and look
forward to your contributions. Please feel free to share this call with
