Call for Papers for Spanish Labour Law and Employment Relations Journal (SLLERJ)


Dear Colleagues, we are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for Spanish Labour Law and Employment Relations Journal (SLLERJ). SLLERJ provides comment and in-depth analysis on a wide range of topics relating to labour law, employment law, industrial relations and social security. See: https://lnkd.in/g78i9BF

We are preparing the following issue on the European working time regulation. Since the Directive 88/2003 there are more than 50 judgments of the European Court and recently the interpretative Communication on Directive 2003/88/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time (2017/C 165/01) has been approved. In this sense, many areas may be discussed in a paper such as the scope of the Directive (‘volunteers’, ‘trainees’ or of persons under zero-hours or civil-law contracts), the implementation of the use of the opt-out in some countries, the annual leave or the impact of the EU Case Law in one country, among other topics.

The deadline is 2019 June.
