We want to draw your attention to a special co-edited issue of the European Labour Law Journal which we have lead on Covid-19 and the workplace. Through the generosity of Sage Publishing, this special issue is freely available for a short period. The special issue contains insightful national reports from Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The contributions were authored by colleagues in these countries. he issue begins with our co-authored article ‘An unprecedent social solidarity stress test’ in which we draw from our colleague’s reports to set out how the named countries addressed the pandemic from a labour perspective. Additionally, we offer analysis on these initiatives with some comparative assessments. We hope you will find these pieces of use for your own work confronting this unique challenge.
