Call for papers - Teoria Jurídica Contemporânea Journal


The Teoria Jurídica Contemporânea Journal, of the Postgraduate Program in Law of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), which will be under the editorial responsibility of Romina Lerussi (CONICET, Córdoba, Argentina) and Francisco Trillo (Castilla la Mancha, Spain), invites the submission of unpublished articles for the thematic issue "A new Labour Law for today's world: broadening the base and expanding the imagination", based on the following axes:

Working on digital platforms.

Teleworking.

Ecology and Labour Law.

Feminism and Labour Law.

Challenges to National and International Trade Unionism.

Art and Labour Law.

Racism and Labour Law.

Migration and Labour Law.

Privacy, surveillance and data at work.

New dimensions of subordination in labour relations.

Instructions for paper submission:

Guidelines for Authors
1. No reference indicating authorship will be permitted.

2. The simultaneous submission of more than one article under the same authorship will not be accepted. If this occurs, the second submission will not be evaluated.

3. The contributions sent by undergraduate and master students must be submitted in co-authorship with the respective master or doctoral advisor.

4. It is recommended that the submitted manuscripts should not exceed 20 pages in Times New Roman font, size 12 and single spacing.

5. Notes should be numbered sequentially in Arabic numerals and placed at the foot of the page.

6. Footnotes that include content information should be brief and focused on one subject only. Content notes may also point the reader to other sources.

7. The article should include an abstract, with approximately 10 lines, as well as a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 key words.

8. Keywords are fundamental for the correct indexing of the work. It is recommended to include the indicative word of the sub-area in which the paper is inserted. It is also recommended to verify the occurrence of the words in national and international databases, as the vocabulary of authorities of the National Library (http://acervo.bn.br/sophia_web/).

9. When the text is written in Portuguese, the title, the abstract and the key words must be translated into English; when written in English or Spanish, into Portuguese.

10. Direct quotations that do not exceed three lines must remain in the body of the text, between inverted commas -- without italics or bold. Direct quotations that exceed three lines should be highlighted and indented from the left margin -- without italics or bold.

11. Book titles should appear in italics; article titles should appear in inverted commas. Latin or foreign language words -- with reference to the language in which the text was written -- should appear in italics. Italics may also be used as an emphasis resource by the author himself. Never use bold in the body of the text.

12. Direct and indirect citations should appear in a footnote and indicate the author(s) surname only, in uppercase, followed by the year of publication and (when applicable) the page. Example: HART, 1961, p. 15.

13. The complete references should be indicated in a separate section, after completion, following the technical rules of NBR 6023 (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards).

14. The editors recommend the use of clear, precise and consistent language. The use of inclusive gender language is at the discretion of the author.

Conditions for submission
As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify the compliance of the submission with all the items listed below. Submissions that are not in compliance will be returned to the authors.

The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor". When an identical or substantially similar work has been published, even in another language, this fact must be informed to the editor at the time of submission.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
URLs for the references have been informed when possible.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underline (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document as attachments.
The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, in the About the Journal page.
In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., articles), the instructions available in Assuring blind peer review were followed.
No other article of my authorship is currently under evaluation by this journal.
In the case of undergraduate or master's degree students, the proposal has been co-authored with the research doctoral advisor.
No fees will be charged to authors in the submission, evaluation and publication of articles.
