Rosemary Danesi is a Labour and employment specialist with a focus on employment relations, human resource management and Labour Law. She graduated from the University of Lagos in 1989 with a degree in Sociology. She obtained a Masters degree from the same university in 1995 in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management. Thereafter she obtained an LLB (1999) and an LLM (2002) from Unilag. She obtained a BL from Nigerian Law School in 2002. She obtained a PhD in Law from the University of Essex, United Kingdom in 2013. Over the years Rosemary has conducted research and published her findings in reputable journals both in Nigeria and Overseas. She has been a lecturer in Unilag since 2002 where she is now a senior lecturer. She has mentored and supervised many research projects for both undergraduate and post-graduate students. She has won two research grants, i.e. Fulbright Fellowship, and Unilag Central Research Committee (CRC) grants. She is a member of many professional bodies such as the NBA and CIPM.
