White Paper on the Future of Labour Law.

an international working group of labour lawyers, chaired by Etienne Pataut and Sophie Robin-Olivier (both from University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne), has just published a White Paper on the Future of Labour Law.

The paper is the fruit of numerous interviews and conversations conducted by the members of the working group with various experts of labour law. It covers a broad range of topics, including platform work, protection of employees’ rights in transnational supply chains, international framework agreements, social clauses in trade agreements as well as choice-of-law issues.

The English version of the White Paper is available here:

The paper is part of a series of White Papers on a broad array of legal topics initiated by the French branch of the International Law Association (ILA) to celebrate next year's 150th anniversary of the organization. Like the other papers, also the White Paper on labour law is the subject of a public consultation that will be running until 31 December 2022. Comments on the paper are welcome and can be submitted to adi.ila2023labour@gmail.com.
