2026 European Labour Law Young Scholars Meeting
The 2026 European Labour Law Young Scholars Meeting invites PhD candidates and other early-career researchers to submit abstracts for panel or poster presentations. The conference theme, “Reframing Social Security and Labour Law Through Fundamental Rights in a Deregulatory Context,” examines the growing impact of deregulation on labour and social security law, with particular attention to the protection of vulnerable groups. It invites critical reflection on how contemporary regulatory approaches can strike an appropriate balance between flexibility and effective labour and social protection. Hosted by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), under the umbrella of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law and EUTOPIA, the conference also welcomes non-presenting participants.
